About the Program...
We are very excited and enthusiastic to bring a unique Art Program to our school! Over the course of 9 weeks, students will have the opportunity to engage and learn about different artists and replicate their styles and techniques. Classes will held Thursdays, February 6, 13, 20, 27; March 6, 13, 20; and April 3 and 10, from 4:00-5:00.

Students will learn art history and new artistic techniques in an easy to understand and fun way. As students explore various expressions of Art, several skills will be developed and/or reinforced. We are looking forward to not just a final product but to enjoy the course of exploration through hands on projects with children. The final session will conclude with and art gallery for parents and guardians to see their students' work!

About the Program...
We are excited to bring a unique learning opportunity to Northwest Indiana! Come discover Mandarin and how its tones, characters, and culture distinguish one of the most spoken languages in the world. Young ages especially benefit since, as a tonal language (where pitch or intonation of a sound can change the meaning of a word), children can readily distinguish and represent tones.
Fun fact - research indicates that speaking a tonal language increases the likelihood of having perfect pitch!​
